Why timesheets matter more than they seem
Incomplete or late timesheets aren't just an admin headache. When hours go missing, are over or under recorded, or land on the wrong job, phase or task, they distort your job costs, your utilisation and your picture of commercial performance.
And the longer people leave it, the more they forget. Rebuilding a week from memory is slow, and it's rarely accurate.
Filling timesheets straight from the schedule looks like the answer. It's quick, but it records the plan, not the reality. If a job was booked for three hours and took five, the timesheet still says three, and the overrun disappears.
How AI Timesheets works
Start from suggestions, not a blank page
AI Timesheets uses your Synergist resource bookings as its starting point, then adds suggestions from your connected Outlook or Google calendar, all on one screen. Where the information supports a match, it suggests the client, job, phase, charge code, duration and description for each entry.
AI suggests. You decide.
Every suggestion is a starting point, not a done deal. Change the job, phase, charge code, hours or description right there on the screen, then accept or reject it. Nothing is recorded until you accept it, so mistakes are fixed before they reach your data, not after. Each suggestion shows where it came from, and when AI Timesheets can't find a confident match, it tells you rather than guessing. You can still add time manually whenever you need to.
See your hours at a glance
A running total shows your chargeable, non-chargeable and remaining hours against what's required for the day and the week. So you can spot gaps before they turn into missing time.
What it means for your agency
- Less time on timesheets. Start with suggested entries instead of rebuilding your day from memory.
- Hours that match reality. Forgotten work shows up as a suggestion, and overruns show up when people confirm what they actually worked.
