Our story
Synergist started with a simple goal: help agencies and consultancies streamline operations and increase profits. We recognised they needed a unique solution. Not a generic project management tool with agency features bolted on, something built from the ground up around how they actually work: jobs, retainers, utilisation, client profitability...
In 2003, working closely with agencies and consultancies of different shapes and sizes, 'Synergist' was born.
(Fun fact: a "synergist" [SIN-uh-jist] is something that makes another thing more effective. That's where our name comes from, and it's still exactly what we're here to do.)

Twenty-five years on, that's still the passion.
Synergist has since merged with Agency Works, our exclusive partners who'd spent 25 years implementing Synergist software into agencies before joining us, and we've become part of Banyan Software Group, giving us more expertise and resources to support our clients and growth.
