Product update: Synergist v15 Nov 2025

Right on schedule with our four-monthly release programme, Synergist v15 has arrived!

We've been listening to your feedback and building features that solve real agency challenges. Whether you're a project manager juggling timelines, a finance team tracking profitability across departments, or an admin managing permissions and settings, v15 has something that'll make your day smoother.

What's new in v15?

  • AI autofill from purchase invoices

Building on v14's AI expense creation, we're now extending smart automation to purchase invoices. Upload your purchase invoice (jpeg, png, tiff, or pdf) and AI automatically extracts the data. No more manual data entry.

  • Enhanced departmental revenue analysis

The departmental revenue analysis screen now also includes gross profit metrics: estimated, quoted, and actual GP, plus variance between actual and quoted. View these new metrics by department at job and phase levels.

  • Gantt charts with task management

Add tasks directly to your Gantt charts and reorder them as required. Visualise not just phases, but the specific work items within them – giving your team a more detailed project plan.

  • Estimates with clearer totals

If you're using the new optional phases we released in v14, your estimates will now show three totals at a glance: Total for non-optional phases, Total for optional phases and grand total.

  • Data Analytics improvements

Sticky columns: Lock columns in place as you scroll horizontally, just like Excel's freeze panes. Keep key identifiers visible while exploring your data.

Holidays are now factored into required and target hours, giving you accurate resource planning without manual adjustments.

  • Cleaner timesheets

Hide weekends and non-working days from your timesheet view for a cleaner interface that shows only the days that matter.

  • In-app notifications

Stay informed about product updates, release notes, webinar invites, and admin information – all within Synergist. You can now flag specific users as super users to ensure they receive all relevant notifications and communications – perfect for system champions and department leads who need to stay on top of everything.

  • Optional calendar synchronisation

Choose exactly which users sync with Microsoft or Google calendars. Not everyone needs calendar integration – now you can be selective.

  • Move bookings improvements

Update multiple related resource bookings with intuitive 'batch actions'. Select all related bookings based on their Organisation, Job, Phase or Stage and then batch update them in a single click to move, change their status or delete them.

  • Task list enhancements

Add 'preferred resource' to task list views, making it easier to see who's best suited for upcoming work. Helping you to make smarter use of your team's skills and expertise.

  • Save trusted device for MFA

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) with trusted device saving allows you to bypass the second authentication step on trusted devices for a set duration.

  • Expanded Sage Intacct integration

Our Sage Intacct integration is now more comprehensive: sales invoices, credits, purchase invoices, and expense attachments are automatically sent to Sage, and you can import purchase and expense files directly from Sage. Less manual data transfer, more confidence in your financial records.
