A new survey called What Clients Think, on behalf of UK design agencies, has some revealing findings.
There's good news and bad news for agencies. Topics include client opinions on agency creative standards, client / agency chemistry, differentiation between design agencies, communications from agencies, and whether clients would recommend their agency to other clients.
The survey is in association with DBA (the Design Business Association).
That last point isn't perhaps quite as alarming as it looks. The survey says: "Reducing costs is often described as working ‘more efficiently’ and many clients stated that they would like agencies to be more proactive in talking to them about how this can be achieved."
