Europe marketing index rises against global trend
The new Global Marketing Index (GMI) by World Economics shows that Europe's marketing activity grew in March to its highest level in the history of the GMI survey.
This is to be contrasted with declining figures from The Americas and Asia Pacific.
Note that in these graphs the '50' line means 'no change', so anything above that line shows growth.
The same survey shows that Global Marketing Budgets for March grew a little. This happens to be the 37th consecutive month that the Index has shown a rise of resources devoted to marketing.
